LPKF Allegro laser systems are used for all processes associated with laser structuring (laser scribing) thin-film solar panels. Whether CIGS, CIS, aSi, aSi/µSi or CdTe, depending on the thin-film technology used Allegro systems are equipped with the corresponding optimal laser sources and can be equipped for machining from the film or glass side of substrate. The system modularity accommodates various substrate sizes.

The Allegro series combines ultimate performance and profitability in laser scribing with the following unique features:

A compact laser working head is used for scribing, i.e. the glass rests during scribing to ensure precision.

Its high acceleration and speed is reached independent of glass size. The Allegro systems are capable of compensating incoming glass tolerances in terms of waviness or distortion. These unique features allow to manufacture modules at maximized module efficiency and highest throughput.
