With the slogan "Ich bin ein Berliner", Jonas & Redmann is a partner in Berlin's image campaign promoting the city as an industrial center. The goal of the campaign is to raise international awareness of Berlin as an industrial center. "Berlin is an industrial city," said Berlin's Governing Mayor Klaus Wowereit (SPD) at the press conference held in the city hall to kick off the image campaign.

Berlin's industrial corporations employ 100,000 persons directly, and its economy has proven itself to be significantly more dynamic than economies in other regions. A long-term study performed by the German Institute for Economic Research ["Deutsches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung"] found that Berlin's economy has grown by an average of 1.7 percent per year since 2004, compared to the Germany-wide average of just 0.5 percent. In addition, the capital has added about 140,000 new jobs since 2005. The purpose of the campaign is to make that clear in several stages: first in Berlin itself, then throughout Germany, and finally in important international markets.
