Bucci outlines why there are so many different types of material used in backsheets, and details how the hugely increased demand for materials in the gigawatt scale is allowing the company to introduce new materials that provide the same properties and durability. Finding these materials in gigawatt-scale amounts is a challenge, notes Mr. Bucci.
