SAN FRANCISCO - December 1st, 2010 - Upsolar, a leading international solar module supplier, today announced it signed a 6 MW distribution agreement with Focused Energy, a wholesale distributor of residential and commercial solar photovoltaic (PV) products. Under the terms of the agreement, Focused Energy will offer Upsolar’s line of modules to its North American customers throughout 2011, with an option to extend for an additional 2 MW.

Paris, France.—September 18, 2009—Thanks to its strong partnership with its clients in Europe, Upsolar’s PV modules are now installed in the large projects in Belgium. Group Machiels NV, a well known Belgium corporation strongly involved in environment and waste management projects, is about to finalized a 4,7 MWp PV plant in Heusden-Zolder, the largest plant in the BeNeLux area so far, as well as another 1,5 MWp plant in Lommel. These two projects have been made possible with the participation of LRM Limburgse Reconversie Maatschappij as strong institutional support and investor as well as IZEN NV PV engineering and installation Company.
Paris, France.—September 18, 2009—Thanks to its strong partnership with its clients in Europe, Upsolar’s PV modules are now installed in large projects in Portugal. Grupo Generg, one of the Portugal’s leader in renewable energy project development, has invested 50 Million Euros in the construction of a solar central in Ferreira do Alentejo in South East Portugal. These 58 hectares of solar panels supplied by Upsolar will be sufficient to cover the energy needs of the 9,000 people village.
Paris, France.—September 18, 2009— In the process of continuously increasing its solar modules’ quality, Upsolar tests and inspects new materials and components in its own laboratory in Shanghai.
In line with this process, Upsolar has now decided to offer its customers the possibility to buy solar modules not only with Tyco, but also with Huber+Suhner junction boxes.
