PV Enterprise is one of Sweden’s leading developers and manufacturers of solar cell panels. Our company, which is clearly characterised by its Swedish origins, was founded in Vilshult, Blekinge in 2002. Technical know-how, a desire to continually develop, and an uncompromising attitude towards quality and service are our company’s foremost, distinctive features.
REC’s business activities are organized in three divisions: REC Silicon produces silane and polysilicon for the photovoltaic and electronics industries at two facilities in the USA. REC Silicon is the world’s largest dedicated producer of silicon materials for the PV industry. REC Wafer produces multicrystalline wafers for the solar cell industry at two production facilities in Norway, as well as specialized monocrystalline wafers at a separate plant in Norway. REC Wafer is the world’s largest producer of multicrystalline wafers. Finally, REC Solar produces solar cells at its plant in Norway and solar modules at its facilities in Sweden. It also operates a small systems installation company, Solar Vision, in South Africa.
The company’s key competence in photovoltaics lies in thin-film technologies, which are used to manufacture different kinds of solar cells. VON ARDENNE supplies highly-productive in-line coaters in all customary sizes for TCO-layers, backside contacts and semiconductor layers based on CIS or CdTe.
